Ring Christmas Bells...

Well it's that time of year again - one of my favorite times of the year - Christmas! I can't quite put a finger on it, but it just hasn't totally sunk in yet that Christmas is only 3 days away. It's been a busy season. What's added the most to the busyness of it all has been our move from the upstairs apartment in our building to the downstairs. Not much of a move in terms of distance, but it's been interesting to say the least. We had lots of help from our friends and family during the move. The interesting part started after the move. The electric is being update in the apartment (which we are most thankful for), but it's been a little "testy" at times. Except for those moments, everything has been going quite smoothly.
Danielle was offered a new job last week at a business here in town. It will mean less wear and tear on the car, going to lunch together, etc. etc.
In less than 2 weeks time, we'll be off to brave the cold of Buffalo to watch the Steelers and the Bills play on Jan. 2. It will definitely be a blast, and no, not just an arctic one : )
Well I guess that about sums it up. Remember the name of the holiday we are celebrating this season - Christmas. According to WikiPedia, it is quite literally the Mass of Christ. Without Christ, there is no Christmas, no celebration, no hope for the futue, no hope for mankind for that matter. As you sit with family and friends and you unwrap your gifts and eat all the wonderful food, please remember that He left His home to come and dwell with us and pay the ultimate price in order to redeem mankind.
Merry Christmas, everyone!
