Newlyweds

No, we're not as rich as Nick and Jessica, and we don't have an MTV crew following us around, but being newlyweds is great. We had an amazing wedding. The weather was perfect, everything went off without a hitch (except when the minister said "Brian," (my dad), "you may now kiss your bride." But that added a little lightheardtedness to the whole event. We had an awesome time at the reception, and the wedding night wasn't so bad either ; ) Anywho, we left the next day for Rehoboth Beach, which was cool. Did lots of putt putt golfing, and we saw some movies, did some shopping, but we only enjoyed the beach a little, due to the fact that the water was FREEZING, and for some reason, the beach had an odd smell to it.

So after the honeymoon, it was back to reality which was a little hard to adjust to, but we're doing a good job of it. It's different living with someone all the time. You start to learn little things that you do that bother your spouse and vice versa, and you try your hardest not to do them. I worried about being a good husband, but Danielle tells me I'm doing a fine job of it. I guess what was probably most difficult for me is that I've always been an only child, so things pretty much always went on my schedule. Well now I'm living with someone else, so my schedule has to adapt to my wife's as well. Which isn't a bad thing, just something different than I'm used to.

Everyone says the first year of marriage is the worst. If it's because money is a little tight, I can understand there. We have to be really wise with our money now, but that's a good thing. But I say, if the first year is the worst, then bring it on, because this is GREAT.

This weekend we'll go over to Athens to visit the folks (seems weird to call them my folks too). I think we're gonna catch i-Robot tomorrow, so that'll be cool.

Well that's about it.
