Judicial Activism

As I read the news today, I noticed an article about another judge striking down a portion of a law, because he/she deemed the law to be "unconstitutional." It always angers me when I see things like this happen. We have three branches of government for a reason. The Executive branch does the whole running the country thing. The Legislation makes laws (or attempts to if they're not blocked), and the Judiciary enforces the laws - that's enforces them, not change them as they see fit. You see, what's the point of having a law if some judge is just going to say, "I don't really like that, it's unconstitutional." Then, all of a sudden, the law is no longer good, until that gets appealed anyway. Judges are there to enforce, and to solely enforce. Judges are the reason we have Roe v. Wade and a host of other issues. Because of judges, we have the whole Gay Marriage issue, which shouldn't even be an issue in my mind (it's just plain wrong, anyway you slice it.) And the list goes on and on.
I hope that this election brings about a president who will continue to appoint judges who will simply do there job - nothing more, nothing less.
